I created this as an assignment for an experimental film class. My goal was to simultaneously explore the world of mixed media and music videos.
The majority of my time was spent printing out hundreds of frames from a Hozier concert I attended at Madison Square Garden, and then painstakingly drawing and coloring over each one. Afterwards, I scanned and pieced them together in Premiere Pro.
Other aspects of this project included compositing images in Photoshop and animating them in After Effects, as well as scratching old 8mm film and running that scratched film through a projector. This created moving textured lines which I messed around with in After Effects.
